Steven J. Franta

Steven J. Franta is a co-owner and managing partner at The Legal Professionals, Somsen, Mueller, Lowther & Franta, PA.  Steve assists and counsels clients who have a desire to impact their family, community and charities with the legacy of their assets and values.

Steve concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of estate planning, wills, trusts, Medical Assistance planning, probate and trust settlement, real estate, farm and family business formation and succession planning, real estate, agricultural and business law.  He is a licensed Title Insurance Agent with extensive real estate experience and a Certified Continuing Education Coordinator and Presenter. 

Steve was born and raised in the New Ulm, Minnesota area.  He serves as President of the New Ulm Area Foundation; Co-chair of the Board of Directors of Oak Hills Living Center Foundation; has served as Chairman of the Board of Oak Hills Living Center Operations; is a trustee of his church; represents their area faith community administrative council; and has served as a Director of the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce.
