Patrick A. Lowther

An attorney since 1980, Patrick A. Lowther is co-owner and senior partner at the Legal Professionals, Somsen, Mueller, Lowther & Franta, PA.  The firm’s principal office is in New Ulm, Minnesota with additional offices in Sleepy Eye, Winthrop and Lake City.  Experienced in estate planning, business and real estate, Pat has been named a Super Lawyer by Law & Politics in 1994, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2002, and 2003.  Pat practices in and lectures on estate planning for farm, business and individual clients, as well as complex business and real estate matters.

Pat graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 1980 and Winona State University in 1976 with a B.A. in political science.

Happily married since 1977 to Michal Anderson-Lowther, Pat and Michal have three adult children, Emily, Alison and Ian.  Pat lives in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, where he also coaches high school Mock Trial, plays fast-pitch softball, and is a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.  He belongs to Trinity Lutheran Church (ELCA).  Pat’s fast-pitch team won the 2008 NAFA 55+ National Tournament Championship.
